Love: Week Four: Angels

Angels

Sunday December 20th

Psalm 89:1-4

“1 I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;

with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known

through all generations.

2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever,

that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

3 You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one,

I have sworn to David my servant,

4 ‘I will establish your line forever

and make your throne firm through all generations.’”

Monday December 21st

Titus 3:4-7

“But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind

appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in

accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Tuesday December 22nd

Philippians 2:8-11

“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by

becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. For this reason also God highly

exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Wednesday December 23rd

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who

believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.”

Thursday December 24th

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor

principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor

any other created thing will be able to separate us from the

love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Friday December 25th

Luke 2:9-11

“And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the

Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
