“And the redeemed of the Lord will return
And come to Zion with joyful shouting,

And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Monday December 14th
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy."
Tuesday December 15th
“My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which
You have redeemed.”
Wednesday December 16th
“Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send
some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Thursday December 17th
1 Peter 1:8-9
“though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see
Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Friday December 18th
“Create in me a clean heart, God, And renew a steadfast spirit within
me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And sustain me with a willing spirit.
Saturday December 19th
“You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice over his birth. For
he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit [m]while still in his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the sons of
Israel back to the Lord their God. And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the
spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, and the
disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
